SENIOR PROPOSAL MANAGER

Your Role (High level):
Manage the proposal development process (serving as “writer and manager”) while balancing workload and deliverables for multiple sales opportunities.

Your Salary: MINIMUM $110,000
Your Role (Responsibilities):
Lead and execute departmental and business development functions and special projects
Lead in developing the overall pursuit and sale process, proposals, qualifications, and interviews, including developing strategy and content
Review RFPs with Capture Managers to ensure McKissack addresses all requirements and incorporates win themes
Lead proposal development meetings, and collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to develop language, retrieve and analyze data, research and calculate pricing components
Deliver proposals that are graphically pleasing, accurate, inclusive of required theme, technical scope, and meet requested staff qualifications
Write, edit, AND manage HIGH QUALITY proposal content (including all draft responses) within tight time constraints/deadlines
Work with the design team to create graphics for proposals, executive summaries, and sales presentations
Develop base draft pitch and sales documents for national business development team
Recommend processes for improvement
Update “Knowledge Database” and marketing tracking system
Coach interview presentation teams and assist in developing content
What We NEED You to Have:
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field
Complete understanding of the proposal process, from planning stages to production
MINIMUM 8 years’ experience responding to RFPs, SF 330s, SF 254s and SF 255s, and creating presentations and marketing collateral
MINIMUM 4 years’ experience completing RFP responses WITHOUT supervision
Previous Proposal Management experience in the A/E/C or professional Construction Services industry
Superior proofreading, prioritization, interpersonal, and organizational skills
Proficiency in InDesign, MS Office Suite and Adobe Creative Suite
ABILITY TO PRODUCE WRITING SAMPLE (EXAMPLE OF PREVIOUS WORK) WITHIN 2-3 BUSINESS DAYS OF APPLICATION COMPLETION
Demonstrated previous work experience using time management and delegation skills to complete tasks under tight deadlines

Previous experience in DelTek Vantagepoint or DelTek Vision
Superior prioritization and organizational skills
Proficiency with social media (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn) a plus
