Bringing a wealth of knowledge and experience in the A/E sector, David serves as Chief Administrative Officer for McKissack & McKissack.
With over thirty years of experience in the architecture and engineering sector, David Zelig is a high-level and strategic leader who oversees the day-to-day administration management for accounting, IT, and human resources here at McKissack & McKissack. David plays an integral role in the development and management of our annual budget. As former vice president and director of operations at Leo A Daly, architects, David led and managed overall operations and profitability of the Washington, DC office, leading monthly project reviews to define critical success factors for specific clients and projects and developed strategies and tactics to achieve them while mitigating business risks. David ensured high quality of the project deliverables through strong hiring, training, and utilization of staff and leveraged efforts to maximize value for the firm. While maintaining a proactive role in business development activities, David also worked with corporate leadership and the leadership in the company’s ten additional profit centers, to communicate, support, and achieve overall business goals and aspirations. Earlier in his career, David built out a two-person architecture, land planning, and landscape architecture start-up company into a successful growing business. His previous roles include Chief Operating Officer and Founder of 2Ce, Inc. and Operations Manager for Mike Rosen & Associates, P.C.
