Lisa has over 20 years of extensive HR and business experience working in Human Resource Information Systems, Training and Development, Recruitment and Employee Relations before completing the last 10 years in Benefits Administration and Corporate Wellness.
Lisa Edmonds is the new VP of Human Resources for McKissack & McKissack, leading the strategic design and implementation of the company’s Human Resources policies, programs and services. She will be responsible for leadership development, benefits, compensation, employee relations, talent acquisition and people operations. Lisa has over 20 years of extensive HR and business experience working in Human Resource Information Systems, Training and Development, Recruitment and Employee Relations before completing the last 10 years in Benefits Administration and Corporate Wellness. Lisa holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Capella University as well as a Master’s Degree in Legal Studies with a Concentration in Human Resources and Employment Law from Arizona State University’s Sandra Day O’Connor School of Law. She is a certified Global Benefits Specialist (GBA), Senior Professional Human Resources (SPHR) , as well a certified Project Management Professional (PMP). When she is not wearing her HR hat, she is engaging in various community service projects throughout the DMV area with Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc.® She enjoys reading, creating crafts, traveling with her husband, and visiting her children in Ohio, Florida, and nearby VA.
