Our Washington, D.C. office has an immediate opening for a Project Architect.

Position Description

Role Description

As a Project Architect, you will be responsible for overseeing all phases of projects, ensuring successful execution from planning to completion. Your role will involve close coordination with engineers, architects, contractors, and subcontractors to meet project objectives and maintain high standards of safety, quality, and compliance.

Reporting To: Project Executive

Location: Washington, D.C. (Hybrid)

Salary range: $100,000.00 - $130,000.00

Responsibilities

•Lead and manage architectural projects from initial concept through completion.

• Develop and present design concepts to clients and stakeholders.

• Prepare detailed architectural drawings, specifications, and construction documents.

• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and other project team members.

• Ensure compliance with building codes, zoning laws, and other regulations.

• Oversee project budgets, schedules, and quality control.

• Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor progress and ensure adherence to design intent.

• Mentor and guide junior architects and interns.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.

• Minimum of 6 – 8 years of relevant Architecture experience

• Proficiency in architectural design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp).

• Strong knowledge of building codes, standards, and construction practices.

• Excellent project management and organizational skills.

• Strong communication and presentation abilities.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Skills and Competencies

• LEED accreditation or experience with sustainable design practices is a plus

• Licensed Architect
