Carin Rautenbach, a seasoned executive with over three decades of expertise in program management, construction management, and project controls, recently joined McKissack & McKissack as Chief Growth Officer. Previously, she spent 29 years at AtkinsRéalis. As Senior Vice President and Sector Lead for PM/CM - Aviation, she oversaw project management, construction management, and project controls services across the U.S. aviation sector. In this role, she led operations, P&L management, and growth initiatives while ensuring the delivery of high-quality projects. Her leadership was instrumental in integrating the capabilities of Faithful + Gould, Atkins, and SNC-Lavalin following their 2023 rebranding. Carin’s AtkinsRealis career began in 1996 at Faithful + Gould (now AtkinsRéalis), where she played a pivotal role in shaping the company’s project and program services within the transportation sector. Her strategic vision has guided multi-billion-dollar infrastructure programs, and she served on the senior management team of AtkinsRéalis in the U.S. Before joining AtkinsRéalis, she held project management roles at Hanscomb Canada, JJ Schneid and Partners, Anglo American Corporation, and Davis Langdon. Her early career established a strong foundation in program management, project controls, and project delivery—expertise she has since expanded into executive leadership. Carin holds a Bachelor of Science in Quantity Surveying / Construction Management from the University of Pretoria and has pursued further studies in technology at the University of California, San Diego. Her professional journey reflects a steadfast commitment to excellence in infrastructure development and strategic project execution.
