McKissack & McKissack is excited to announce another company milestone achievement as project winner for ENR Mid Atlantic’s 2015 Best Project for Water/Environment for McMillan Stormwater Storage. McKissack was a part of a project team where we served as the engineer of record and provided design and construction management services for converting an underground cell into a temporary stormwater storage basin to alleviate chronic flooding in the Bloomingdale and LeDroit Park neighborhoods in Washington, DC.
ENR enlists an independent jury of professionals in the design and construction fields to reviews projects across 17 categories. Seventeen projects were awarded the high honor of Best Project in their respective categories. Eligible projects were located in Delaware, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Virginia, West Virginia and District Columbia. All winners are automatically entered into the national competition. Congratulations to our Infrastructure Team for the contribution of their design talents and in assisting McKissack with being a part of the winning project team.
