Deryl McKissack Inducted into Washington DC Hall of Fame
Deryl McKissack was honored by the Washington DC Hall of Fame Society, Inc. as a 2012 inductee and recipient of the Legacy Award in the area of Business.
The Hall of Fame Legacy Award honors persons and establishments in the city who have contributed immensely to the growth and development of Washington, DC. The judges were unanimous in selecting Ms. McKissack, based on her accomplishments and commitment to the District of Columbia. The Hall of Fame gala was held on April 22, 2012 at the L’Enfant Plaza Hotel in Washington, DC.
