Columbian Quarter
Columbian Quarter is one of the last great urban waterfront redevelopment opportunities on the East Coast. McKissack developed a strategy to deliver water to the $2 billion development.
Columbian Quarter is a 4.5-acre Enterprise Zone site located at Poplar Point in Southeast Washington, D.C. The developer, Redbrick LMD, is building 2.5 million SF of mixed-use space, including 1.6 million SF of office space, 700 residential units and ground floor retail. McKissack utilized its civil engineering expertise to develop an effective solution that brings water to the site with less permitting, time and cost.
