Columbian Quarter

Located at Poplar Point, Columbian Quarter is a 4.5-acre site in Southeast Washington, DC. McKissack is serving as both the designer and site development consultant for the site. McKissack initiated the collaboration with various stakeholders to provide the required redundant water supply for the future build-out of the site and in conjunction with the South Capitol Street Design-Build Project. The early analysis and coordination resulted in eliminating the need for multiple permits from various agencies to build 2,500 lineal feet of water service from South Capitol Street to Firth Sterling along Howard Road.
