Responsibilities

Develop a strategic sales plan and goals

Identify potential clients in the target market and complete appropriate research on the prospective client’s business objectives.

Monitor the sourcing of projects and tracking of project progress.

Develop sales and marketing packets and presentations to deliver; plan and oversee new marketing/sales initiatives within a territory, product line, or industry.

Remain actively engaged in the industry, both sponsoring and attending important events: attending conferences, meetings, and industry events; contacting clients to inform them about new developments in the company’s products and services, etc.

Working as a part of a team, collaborate with project leads and specialists, discerning client needs, selling clients on the company as a potential provider, and co-developing quotes and proposals.

Become a subject matter expert on the business products, capabilities, staff, processes, and operations, and remain up-to-date on industry news Identifying new sales leads.

Become knowledgeable on company strengths and risk profile to align opportunities where we can best position the company for success.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in Business, Marketing, Finance, or related field

Minimum 10 years’ experience in Construction Industry or previous role in Business Development

Minimum 10 years’ experience in “Business-to-Business” Sales at a corporate level

Proven previous “on-the-job” experience using advanced research and strategic analysis skills

Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills, (both verbal and written)

Previous experience in Sales roles using personal strengths and acquired knowledge to formulate responses to client questions/ issues

Creative talents and the ability to solve tough problems

Previous “on-the-job experience” structuring projects based on clients’ needs and company’s strengths

In-depth knowledge of the Construction Industry and its current events

Minimum 5 years’ experience adhering to strict deadlines on the job while juggling multiple competing yet equal importance deadlines/obligations vital to successful closing of sales presentations
Operational experience preferred

Compensation

Salary range: $145,000 to 165,000/yearly (dependent on years of experience, competency, travel requirements)
