Responsibilities:
Lead and manage a team of engineers and technical staff to develop RFP documents and detailed designs
Performing and reviewing hydraulic calculations
Drafting and editing project specifications to manage risk
Infrastructure condition assessment and developing rehabilitation and repair plans
Coordination with stakeholders, contractors, and government agencies
Qualifications:
Education: BS in Civil or Environmental Engineering
12-15 years of water and wastewater engineering experience, 5 years' experience in project management
Currently have or able to obtain a Professional Engineering License in Washington D.C., Virginia, and Maryland
Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Experience with Design-Build Contracts
Demonstrated experience overseeing the development and implementation of design and construction contract documents for complex infrastructure projects.
Experience with the permitting process in Fairfax and Loudoun Counties is preferrable
Salary range: $110,000.00 - $180,000.00/yearly (dependent on years of experience, competency, location)
