Chicago Housing Authority-Wide Construction Management
McKissack served as managing partner in the Partnership for Transformation (PFT) joint venture tasked with providing program management services.
The Chicago Housing Authority (CHA) is a municipal corporation that administers federal housing programs for lower income families and seniors. From 2003 to mid-2006, McKissack served as the prime consultant under a managing owner’s representative contract to provide overall management of nine separate owner’s representative contractors and 12 separate design professionals.
The PFT joint venture team provided full program and project management services in an integrated manner not often seen on a program of this size. It also performed all aspects of construction management for the rehabilitation and demolition portion of the work at CHA.
