DDOT Connecticut Ave Streetscape

McKissack will lead civil inspections and scheduling, overseeing comprehensive streetscape upgrades such as new curbs, gutters, ADA-compliant ramps, concrete bus pads, improved intersections, curb bulb-outs, refuge islands, enhanced drainage, signage, lighting, and crosswalks. Sustainable features include green infrastructure, pervious pavement, street furniture, trees, landscaping, and updates to DC Water facilities. The Deck-over Plaza will involve reconstructing tunnel foundations and related structural work. Ongoing coordination with key agencies and community stakeholders will ensure smooth project delivery throughout construction.
