L.A. Metro Exposition Transit CORRIDOR

McKissack & McKissack provided scheduling, stakeholder management and public outreach services to Los Angeles County’s Expo Line Phase 2 extension.
As a “transit parkway,” the Metro E Line includes neighborhood bike paths, pedestrian areas, and landscaping to create community spaces from downtown Los Angeles to Santa Monica. The 15.2-mile light rail project, with 19 transit stations, reduces vehicle miles traveled to help cut fuel consumption for cleaner air while spurring redevelopment and revitalization along the Exposition Boulevard route. McKissack was tapped to provide scheduling, stakeholder management and public outreach services for the Expo Line Phase 2 to extend the Expo Line west to Santa Monica.
