McKissack was selected to provide project management services to over 5 campuses in services to the Los Angeles Community College District (LACCD).
LACCD is composed of nine colleges serving about 250,000 students annually. It is the largest community college district in the U.S. and one of the largest in the world. Overall, LACCD covers 882 square miles and serves 36 cities. McKissack provided program accounting services, which involved reviewing contractor and vendor invoices, providing releases, processing vouchers and approved payables, reconciling General Contractor escrow bank statements, and fiscal year-end activities, such as accruals, journal entries, and bond reconciliations.
