Senior Project Manager - Dallas, TX

Responsibilities
- Manage the full project lifecycle for multiple concurrent program and construction management projects, from planning and design through construction and closeout.
- Develop, mentor, and manage the performance of project staff, providing regular coaching, feedback, and professional development support.
- Oversee project budgets, schedules, staffing plans, and resource allocation to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring proactive communication, responsiveness, and overall client satisfaction.
- Assist leadership with operational needs of the department or office, including workload and staffing planning, process improvement, and internal reporting.
- Review design and construction documents to ensure quality standards, budget alignment, and schedule compliance.
- Support proposal development, interview preparation, and other business development activities as needed.
- Identify project and operational risks and develop and implement mitigation strategies.
- Ensure project teams comply with contract requirements, safety standards, and company policies and procedures.
- Foster a collaborative, high-performing team culture consistent with company values.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of project management experience in construction or program management.
- Proven experience directly managing, developing, and mentoring project staff.
- Demonstrated ability to support operational functions such as staffing, resource planning, and process improvement.
- PMP certification preferred.
- Proficiency with project management and scheduling software (e.g., Procore, MS Project, Primavera P6).
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Experience with public sector or government clients preferred.
- Salary range: $140,000 - $160,000/yearly (dependent on years of experience, competency, travel requirements)
