CPS Program Management

McKissack executed design management and construction management of capital projects, including close out processes, project scheduling, and data controls. Most notably, McKissack converted 5,000 SF of classrooms into a new dining room and cooking kitchen for the students at Peck Elementary School. Prior to this renovation, students ate lunch in their classrooms. McKissack also provided design management services for the conversion of five classrooms and transformed a warming kitchen into a full-service kitchen that features an upgraded MEP system. In addition, McKissack provided Historic Repositioning services for the Kilmer Elementary School, a 20,000 SF Historic Landmark school built in 1930. Services included a full roof replacement and facade renovation that featured extensive exterior facade work, with historic preservation techniques for masonry tuck-pointing, and stone lintel replacement.
