Los Angeles Unified School District — Construction Management Services
McKissack was selected to provide construction management and related services to the Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) in support of its facilities modernization program.
McKissack is led the administration of the LAUSD Safety Program. In this role, the organization developed a “zero incident” program and provided professional oversight, technical guidance, training, and support to project management personnel for the implementation of this program. LAUSD’s mission is to build new schools, school additions, and other projects that provide a healthy and safe environment for educational achievement in the areas of greatest need throughout the District. As of February 2015, the New School Construction Program had delivered 130 new schools and approximately 20,000 modernization projects.
