McKissack is managing the renovation and reconstruction of the Arena.
McKissack serves as the Project Manager for the renovation and reconstruction of the historic Dallas Memorial Arena at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center in Dallas, Texas. Originally opened in 1957 and designed by acclaimed architect George Dahl, the 325,000-square-foot arena is being modernized to meet NBA standards while preserving its historic character. McKissack currently oversees the delivery of design and construction enhancements that will improve functionality, accessibility, and overall visitor experience. The firm provides comprehensive program and construction management services, including architect and CMAR selection, schedule and budget oversight, project controls, and risk management. Through its leadership, McKissack is helping transform the arena into a premier sports and entertainment destination that supports innovation, culture, and economic growth for the City of Dallas.
