Exelon Headquarters at Harbor Point

McKissack & McKissack provided furniture design services for Exelon’s Baltimore Headquarters at Harbor Point, bringing Exelon and Constellation Energy Group employees under one roof.
Exelon’s new Harbor Point skyscraper fulfills its promise to Maryland to boost the state’s economy through a number of initiatives and to build a new headquarters for Constellation Energy. The 17-floor, 21-story building includes 450,000 SF of work space, houses 1,500 employees and features dedicated spaces for the company’s executives, board and information technology, finance, risk, legal, human resources, government affairs, supply chain, corporate development, renewable energy development, communication, real estate / facilities, business services and infrastructure departments. It also houses the Constellation Energy Nuclear Group. McKissack specified the furnishings for all these areas, as  well as for private offices, support and collaborative spaces. To execute this project, McKissack prepared a series of RFPs related to the furnishings, reviewed schematic floor plans, developed  specific furniture layouts and prepared complete furniture plans and requirements  for both open and enclosed offices, collaborative spaces, support spaces and trading floor areas.
